The apartment is ideal for couples, but will comfortably accommodate
up to three adults or two adults with children. There is a 6' bed in the bedroom, a double sofa bed in the sitting
room which is located at the opposite end of the apartment, and for children we can also provide a 'camp' bed and a travel
cot.
With a small child ourselves, we are also able to offer the use of a stroller, high chair, baby
bath, potty, and a selection of toys, etc. should you require them.
As this is our 'home from home' the apartment is furnished with virtually everything you might
need.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, china,
glass and utensils. There is also a hairdryer, iron, CD player, TV/video, Air Conditioning unit, terrace furniture,
etc. There is a small library of fiction and guide books, videos and CDs for you to borrow whilst in the apartment,
but please feel free to bring your own too.
We have put together a brief guide which provides suggestions of places to eat, shop and visit
which, we understand, our guests have found reliable and helpful. We can also help with information about up and coming
events in Venice - concerts, exhibitions, etc. If you have specific requests, for example, in the past we have been
asked about vegetarian restaurants, where to take children, which part of the beach to go to, etc. please do ask.
Please let us know if your trip is to celebrate a special occasion. We can recommend or
help to book restaurants, arrange flowers and so on.
We will send full instructions about how to reach the apartment from either Venice Marco Polo
or Venice Treviso
airports. Please advise us which airport you will be flying into.
From the UK budget airlines including Ryanair, Easy Jet and Jet 2 fly into Venice, as well as
Alitalia and British Airways. Check the budget websites on a Tuesday or Wednesday for the best deals!
